Las Palmas Airport: 
Also known as Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Airport, it is situated on the island of Gran Canaria. It is a busy airport with one of the largest amounts of passenger traffic in the Canary Islands. The airport is found on the eastern part of the island and is approximately 19 kilometres from the city of Las Palmas. A short drive in your hire car will take you to the tourist areas of the South. 

The airport is also an important connecting airport for passengers wishing to travel to West Africa, including Morocco and Cape Verde. The airport has been expanded and renovated greatly over the years and is equipped with all the modern facilities passengers would expect. 

Flying to Las Palmas from Ireland:
It is possible to fly from Donegal and Dublin with a connecting flight to Las Palmas in Gran Canaria. A possible flight combination would be Aer Lingus and British Airways.
